About the Track Homeland and Returning Home

Since the release of the new album, I’ve noticed an increased interest from listeners in the track Homeland. And today I want to share with you the story that may have led me to write this composition.

One day, many years ago, when I was a young man, I began to be haunted by a strange feeling unlike anything I’d experienced before. I started to feel homesick. The most unusual thing was that at those moments I was already at home — that is, in the city where I was born, surrounded by my native walls. However, something inside, in my soul, seemed to say the opposite.

When dusk fell, I looked out the window at the dark, starry sky, and an incomprehensible sadness filled my heart — as if somewhere out there, far from here, millions of light‑years away, there was my true home, which I’ve missed to this day.

Since childhood, I’ve been haunted by the questions “Who am I?”, “Where am I from?”, “Why am I here?”. And I’ve been searching for answers to them all my life. I’m looking for my home.

I’m sure there are still quite a few others like me — wanderers who roam with their minds across the endless expanses of the universe, also seeking answers. And one day, we will find them. We’ll find our homes. Each of us. I believe in it.
