On Music and Purpose

Finding your place in life can be no easy task. For some, the search may stretch out over many years. But it’s worth it. Once you set out on your path, you gain a direction — a bright light ahead, like a guiding star.

On the road, you may encounter pits, bumps, and wild beasts. But as long as you hold a compass in your hand, have an unbending intention in your soul, and carry a clear answer to the question “Why?” in your mind, your journey will be filled with meaning. Hardships and adversities will turn into invaluable experience and make you stronger — even though they may cause pain and inflict wounds that leave a mark for the rest of your life.

Along the way, you’ll meet things that slow you down — and things that help.

I know music helps many people. For me, it does more than just help — it’s a way of self‑expression. I’ve found myself and my calling in music. However, my purpose isn’t just about writing compositions. I sincerely hope that the tracks I write and release under the Ships Fly Up project serve as a kind of medicine — not only for my own soul, but for the souls of others as well.
